The 2010 World Massage Festival "A Massage Reunion" is a major continuing education event including registration for up to 24 NCBTMB-approved CE hours of workshops, four nights lodging and four full days of meals for an all-inclusive price of  $492.

Visit the World Massage Festival Web site (www.worldmassagefestival.com) for discounts and payment options, which include paying 50 percent of the cost when you register and the second 50 percent one month later.

The festival will be held June 17-21 at the campus of Berea College in Berea, Kentucky (just 40 minutes south of Lexington on I-75).

What to Expect from the Festival:

  • Exciting events and CE classes. View the complete schedule of events and classes by clicking on the days of the calendar on the front page at http://www.worldmassagefestival.com.
  • Workshop registration for up to 24 NCBTMB-approved CE hours. Choose from 42 instructors, teaching 56 different classes!  Class lengths range from one-hour classes to 16-hour classes, so set the schedule that is just right for you!  A list of instructors with links to their class descriptions is at www.worldmassagefestival.com/2010/classes.html.
  • A weekend chock full of education, fun, networking and shopping, beginning with a Jam Fest on Thursday evening in Old Town Berea and ending with Jenny Ray (2009 Hall of Fame Member) and Janelle Lakman graciously sharing a special Closing Ceremony with us on Sunday night. (Details at: www.worldmassagefestival.com/2010/sunday.html.)
  • New this year. A new medical aquatics class by Paul St. John, James Waslaski offers a new orthopedic class and 24 full hours of Easlen Massage training are offered.
  • Short classes have been added to Friday's schedule to allow you a "taste" of a modality, technique or instructor that may be new to you while still earning credits and receiving certificates for attending the classes. (Details at: www.worldmassagefestival.com/2010/friday.html.)
  • More ways to earn points to win prizes have been added at www.worldmassagefestival.com/2010/points.html.
  • Keynote Speaker, Paul St. John. (Sponsored by massage promotions!)
  • Musician Steven Halpern will be playing his massage music as part of the Hall of Fame Ceremonies on Saturday night.
  • Entertainment on the stage in the Vendor Hall, thanks, in part, to the sponsorship of Anita Shannon of ACE Massage Cupping!
  • Each registrant gets a free door prize ticket. In 2009, we gave away over $32,000 worth of door prizes, with everything from jewelry to a business starter package that included a table and massage chair and accessories!
  • Less than 50 residence hall rooms available. Register soon if you want to stay on campus!
